Volunteer
Volunteers bring a unique passion and energy to our lodges.
Green Acres Foundation volunteers perform many duties including, but not limited to, assisting with resident bus trips, calling bingo, facilitating games, and helping with movie nights. One-on-one opportunities for reading programs are also available.
There are enriching volunteer opportunities at all of our facilities. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the Manager at your lodge of choice and they will assist you with the appropriate paperwork. You can also e-mail your application to hr@greenacres.ab.ca
A clear criminal record check will be required.
“I have been a volunteer at Garden View Lodge since November 1999. That was when my father moved to the Lodge. They were looking for a pianist for hymn sing and Dad said, ‘I wonder if you could do that?’. I feel very appreciated for my efforts. Recently, I have been helping with other activities as well as pianist.”
